Come get some clothes! [Closed/Complete]
Character(s): Selphie, Sora and Ichigo
Content: Getting Clothes
Setting: Auntie Unde's
Time: Shortly after Selphie gets through Niflheim and into the town
Warnings: Nudity
Everything was completely different in Paixao compared to Balamb Garden. The only things that seemed real were the people. Even then, there were more people she had seen that were closer to her age than anything else. There were a few scant elderly but other than that, there was nothing. It was like the older the people of this town became, the greater the chance of them disappearing.
But for now, as the mud continued to squish between her toes, there was only one thing on the brunette's mind as the wind blew through her hair and striped pajamas searching for something that much greater; clothes. Selphie needed new clothes but she wasn't sure where she would find a store that would sell anything of that sort. It perplexed her how the houses were scattered in small clusters and the shops were solitary standing. Selphie had always thought that there would be more houses closer to a shop than anything else, or at least more people.
Putting on her best face, Selphie stuck to the side of the pathway as walking in the squishy earth was more comfortable than walking on a road that looked to be warming up as the sun began to shine right on her.
Cautiously, not really knowing any people her at all, Selphie walked over to the edge of the road and stopped a young woman around her own age to ask for help. "Excuse me, is there some type of store around here where I could get some clothing?"
The young woman, smiling smugly at her through her finely painted face and pointed in the background toward a rustic house with a sign that said "AUNTIE UNDE'S GENERAL STORE" in faded black paint. A bit of money was scattered on the ground before the woman laughed hysterically, walking off her arms laced through an ornate blouse and equally through the arms of a sympathetic suitor who smiled apologetically at Selphie as she scooped up the money and walked purposefully toward the shanty and opened up the door.
"Hello, is anyone here?" Selphie called from the entrance, doing her best to wipe the mud from her feet on the porch.

Another five minutes' worth of running brought him to an old building in one of the more rundown parts of town. He could barely make out the words "AUNTIE UNDE'S GENERAL STORE" on a sign over the top of the door, and it looked really dilapitated, but a store was a store, he reasoned to himself. Maybe they'd have some clothes as well. A quick check into his pockets uncovered nearly 600yen worth of coins. At least it was probably enough to buy some food, if nothing else.
Stuffing his hands back into his pockets, Ichigo made his way towards the shop, poking his head in through the door. "Uh... is this thing open?"

Pale skin and orange hair, he kinda had the shape of a strawberry going on with his head but Selphie wouldn't DARE to mention that to someone she'd just met.

"Umm...no, I'm not from around here. I'm come from a place called Balamb Garden. I went to sleep last night and woke up sleeping in the mud if you can't tell," she explained gesturing to herself. "What about you, where are you from?"

"I don't think you would know where Balamb or any other place on my world is," Selphie confessed. "Because I don't think we're from the same world. I've never heard of Karakura or Japan before. It's cool but scary at the same time. It's kinda like something you'd read out of a book don't you think?"
(He's spacing out 8DDD; wake him up!)
Soul Society... now that he'd thought about it, maybe some people he knew from there had been brought into this place too. Hanatarou, Ikkaku, Gin or, hell, even Aizen would've been a welcome sight; some faces that he knew. He instinctively reached into his pockets and sighed inwardly with relief as his fingers closed around the Shinigami badge that Ukitake had given him just before he'd left Soul Society. At least he was reassured that he could still kick some major ass if he needed to.
Re: (Feel free to shoot me later then! XDDDD)
No matter, Selphie knew of another way to get a quiet person's attention. Letting go of the table behind her, Selphie stood at her full height (which compared to the boy was not very impressive) and looked up at him with an innocent grin on her face. Oh, she'd pay for this later, Selphie was almost certain of it. But hey, he was zoning out on her and maybe if she shouted loud enough someone would come and help them out.
She drew in a large breath, shut her eyes and shouted, "WAKE UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!" as loud as she could muster.
Re: (HAHAHAHAHA YOU RULE)
"WERE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME OR SOMETHING?" God, that wasn't a scream, that was a damned TRAIN WHISTLE next to his EAR. "You're even noisier than Rukia is! And I thought that wasn't even humanly POSSIBLE. Gods." He sat down on the floor and scrunched his eyes shut, massaging the top of his head. "Owwwww. Fuck. That hurts. I hope you're happy now."
Re: (*dies* Well hey, it worked!)
Selphie waited for the orange haired loudmouth to stop shouting before she let her hands fall to her side before she walked behind him and started moving his hand. The brunette might be weaponless, but that didn't mean that she was defenseless against...well...anything. She placed her hand over the bump and said, "Cure!" as a green light wisped out of her hand and around his head.
"Is that better?" she asked apologetically. "I'm sorry mister."

Ichigo looked up, somewhat resembling a deer in headlights. "How'd you DO that??"

Selphie smiled at her companion even though she didn't know his name. "You wouldn't know about white magic. It's healing magic we use back home."

Those two weren’t Donald and Goofy…were they?
Donald glared, irked at Sora’s expression. “What?” he demanded, crossing his arms. ‘They’re actually…arms, now,’ Sora thought. He turned his head to Goofy. ‘Yup…the same thing’s happened to him.’ A thought crossed Sora’s mind. “Donald! You’re indecent!”
“Whaa-?” Donald asked. Goofy looked down at his partner and gave Donald the same reaction Sora had. “Donald…you’re human!”
Donald was too busy eyeing Goofy in the same way. “Goofy…you’re human, too!” Goofy took the time to examine himself. “Well gawrsh…I guess I am! Ahyuck!”
“That…that…augh!” Sora said franticly. He quickly took off his jacket at wrapped it around Donald to hide his nether regions. “Okay,” he sighed, taking the time to stand back and look at his companions fully.
They were still the same height, at least, with Goofy being far taller than Sora and Donald being several inches shorter. They basically looked like ordinary humans. Goofy’s hair was long and black, put into two braids going over his ears. He still wore the same clothes, with the goofy goggles on his head and the abnormally large shoes. Donald’s hair, on the other hand, was short and fluffy, so blond it was nearly white. ‘Maybe it is white,’ Sora considered. “In any case, Donald, let’s get you some actual pants.”
“Where?” Goofy asked. “We don’t even know where we are.”
“Hmm…that’s true,” Sora mused. He looked around, just know taking the time to look at his surroundings. It was….weird, where they were. It didn’t feel very welcoming. All the people there seemed to be in their own world, paying the strange travelers no mind. The buildings seemed strange, too, all alone and rundown. Sora’s eyes feel upon the sign on one of the buildings.
“Auntie Unde’s General Store…”he read aloud. “Well, if it’s a general store, maybe they have pants in here.” He ushered to his friends and the three of them entered the building.

Remembering that he was still in the presence of the brunette, he tried to push those thoughts away for now. "So, uh... I just realised I didn't really get your name." She probably had some megawatt amplifier built in somewhere, and he sure as hell didn't want to find out. "I'm Kurosaki Ichigo."

"There's magic where your from too? Hey, that's cool!"

"Excuse me," Sora began. "Do either of you guys know where the clothes section is?"
no subject
"Looks like everything is back here," Selphie pointed into the back. "We've been chatting here for a few minutes. I need to get some clothes myself!"

"What's so funny?!" Donald demanded.
"It's just...you still waddle," Sora giggled.
Donald scowled. "I've walked this way ever since you first met me! Why's it so funny now?!"
"No reason," Sora snickered again as he searched through the racks, hoping to find a pair of pants short enough for his formerly-feathered friend.

Selphie gave a startled scream as she back up and ran towards the entrance of the store. Once outside on the porch, Selphie sat down on a crate and hid her beet red face in her hands.
"PANTS! WHY ISN'T HE WEARING ANY PANTS?!" she shouted into the distance.

The trio jumped, startled. "Uhh, Donald, I think you may have scared that poor girl," Goofy said. Donald scoffed.
"Ah, what's her problem, anyway? It's not like I'm fully naked; I've got Sora's jacket tied around my waist!" he said, defending himself.
Sora sighed, shaking his head. "Donald...it's just...not the same. And with her being...a her...I'd better go apologize." He ran out, leaving the other two behind.

... If it still worked that way, that is, in this weird new world.
To Sora or Ichigo
Hopping down off the crate, Selphie walked resolutely back into the store. She was still blushing but at least now she wouldn't be screaming her head off about Donald. She walked through the store, pulling down a comfortable looking pair of shoes in the process before walking over to the second rack which appeared to hold the ladies clothing.
It was dusty but a little fresh air would get the smell of dust out of the clothes. If not, Selphie could always go swimming in her clothing. The shoes she pulled off were a bright yellow colour with velcro straps. Setting them on the floor, Selphie started searching through the rack of clothes searching for a pair of jeans and a shirt. The jeans were the easiest to find as she pulled out a pair of black, baggy pants and slung them over her shoulder. She didn't care about the size, that's what belts were for!
Next after a bit more hunting, Selphie discovered a green tanktop and a yellow sweater to wear overtop of it.
"Booyaka!" She exclaimed cheerfully before leaning down to pick up the shoes and scampering into the back with her bundles in her arms. The brunette knew that she'd have to wash her feet at the closest river to the General Store but this was much better clothing than walking around in pajamas. She removed her dirty pajamas and left them in a corner in the room. Maybe she could use them to barter for her new clothes.
The new clothes slipped onto her slim frame easily and thankfully the jeans fit just right. Being satisfied with the results of her clothing hunt, Selphie walked back out into the main area of the store and grinned at everyone in attendance.
"So what do you guys think?" She asked of them, acting as if she'd known them forever.
To Selphie (cute outfit!)
"Whaddya think about these?" Goofy asked, holding up a pair of hideously ugly trousers. "Too tacky," Donald replied, shoving them out of the way. "They'll do," Sora said. He was getting impatient again.
"What?!" Donald declared. "I'm not that fashion-disoriented!" He stamped his foot and crossed his arms.
"We'll dye them or something," Sora urged. "Donald, just put on the pa-"
"No!"
Sora sighed heavily, reaching for another pair of pants. 'Blue,' he observed. 'At least they'll match his outfit.' He grabbed Donald by the collar.
"Put. Them. On."
"Okay, okay!" Donald said, alarmed. "Geez, what's gotten into you?" Donald removed Sora's jacket (with Goofy making sure he didn't flash anybody) and put the pants on. "They're too big!"
"Augh!" Sora shouted in frustration. He grabbed a pair of scissors and some pins, and a few minutes later, Donald had a "tailored" pair of pants.
Sighing, Sora stepped back and admired his quick, although shoddy, handiwork. "We can have it properly tailored later, but it will do for now," he said. He turned around to find the brunette girl and adequately apologize, but just as she had done so she grinned and said, "So what do you guys think?"

The woman took all the money and tucked it inside the registered and said, "Have a good day deary."
"Thanks, I will!" Selphie replied, her high spirits restored. There really wasn't much of anything that could keep her down for too long as she walked back over to Ichigo and smiled at him. "Thanks!"

There was no way he was putting it back on again. That would be...icky.
Sora looked around, wondering where the jackets were. Most of the things for boys were quite tacky, and he couldn't blame Donald for not wanting to wear the pair of pants Goofy had chosen. Sora shook his head and sighed.
"Maybe there's somewhere around here where I can get it washed," he said to himself. He picked up the jacket and, after looking around the store, grabbed a box of soap and headed towards the exit.
"Wait!" said Goofy. "Aren'tcha gonna pay for that?"
Sora stopped. It was true; he couldn't just take the items from the store. He glanced around for the owner, or anyone who worked there for that matter, but found nothing. Instead, he walked up to the counter and deposited some munny he still had.
"Let's hope that covers it," Donald said, and they proceeded to the exit. "Bye," Sora called to the others in the store as he left, although he was sure they wouldn't pay him any mind.
