Paixao gets an Overlord! [Completed]

Setting: Niflheim Gate
Time: Evening

Laharl was not in the slightest bit amused. One minute he'd been sitting on his throne ordering about his vassals, then he blacked out. When he awoke, he'd found himself well, definetly not in the Netherworld.

His first thought as he picked himself off the ground and shook the cobwebs from his brain was not how or why, but rather something far more important - WHO. Who would *DARE* do something like this to the Great Supreme Overlord, Laharl-sama?! He was the KING damnit! The young overlord clenched and unclenched his fists in anger, fighting the urge to blow something up, the ground starting to wear away beneath him as his power reacted to his anger. Where were those annoying prinnies when he needed to blow off steam?

Pondering over his large list of enemies he quickly settled on one possibility. The only one demon sneaky, devious and foolish enough to dare: Etna. Only Etna would be intelligent enough to figure out a way to send him to some strange world. She had gone and got him trapped in that bottle that one time. That had to be it. That was the only logical possibility in Laharl's mind, since she was always plotting behind his back. The question now was how did she do it? Something this grand must have taken her ages to come up with. He was *almost* impressed. And next was how the hell would he get back?

Well, standing here seething wasn't really going to do anything, he loathed to admit to himself. Calming his anger for now, his blood red eyes scoured the darkening landscape. Nothing he hadn't seen before, it had a alien feel to it, but the same could be said for the Netherworld. Those domes on the other hand, he wondered. A huge palace perhaps? It was gigantic if it was! His interest perked, and it being the only (and very glaring) landmark to see, he stepped from the mini crater he'd been starting to form and marched up to the silvery-ice looking gate.

Line? SHMINE! He easily shoved his way past those standing there, stupid humans, and glared up at the human wench in the booth who seemed to be greeting the people in line.

"Nam.."

"I am the Supreme Overlord, Laharl-sama" he interrupted, shoving his finger into the gatekeepers face. "I demand to know where I am and what this place is," he ordered.

A smooth flat object was shoved into his pointing finger's hand, "Welcome to Paixao, next!"

"Oi!" he growled as he was forced forward, "How DARE you ignore..." Words fell away as out of the corner of his eye he took in his new surroundings. It was a city! A strange huge human city!

He felt it rising deep inside him, pushing upwards as he folded his arms to his chest. Slowly his angry expression melted away, as his mouth rose into a wide smirk. It started muffled, then belted out, echoing down the street, "AaaaaaaaaaaahHAAAAAAAAAA HAAAA HAAA HAAAAAA HAAAAA HAA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

A WHOLE CITY, full of unsuspecting, foolish humans! This made his day. If there's anything he enjoyed, it was striking terror into humans. Ah the duty of being an overlord never ended.

'Don't get comfy on my throne, Etna,' he thought to himself. He could work with this. He'd find a way back and make her PAY for this.

Currently oblivious from the, undoubtedly, strange looks he was getting by now, he started to ponder how to go about all this. First things first, he needed to find some vassals to order about, since like hell he was going to do all the work to figure out how to get outta here himself. Then "find" someplace to stay that was worthy of an overlord.

Glancing down, he finally now took a moment to examine the human technology that had been given to him. It didn't take the demon too long to work out how to turn it on. The Netherworld wasn't without technology. He was surprised to find it was some sorta journal system. Tch, like he cared about human's pathetic lives, but then again ... he glanced around, everyone seemed to have one at hand. What the hell? He found himself chuckling again, yes, perhaps this COULD be useful.

Fiddling with it for awhile he let out a satisfied hrmf, and snapping it shut, he passed it into his magenta cape, where it simply seemed to vanish. Well, that had proved interesting. He'd managed to stumble onto some public journal, with lots of posts about searching for people. Maybe Etna hadn't been responsible, but that didn't make him any less pissed. He just would have to redirect it.

So now ... what to do first. Ignoring all the obvious and unimportant townsfolk, he easily hopped up onto the nearest building's roof, and gazed down below, attempting to see if could pick out any of these other people who were apparently stranded here. Oh, hello, what were those? Laharl narrowed his eyes as he spotted some strange, white, things appear down the street. He was rather used to strange creatures, the Netherworld was filled with them, so he quickly dismissed them as being anything worth paying attention to.
