Thinking Roxas had fallen, Dib rushed out of his hiding place and peered over the balcony to see if the boy was okay. Upon seeing that Roxas was not only on his feet, but was also laying waste to the Dusks with his keyblade (Where'd that come from? Dib wondered), he relaxed. A bit. Until he saw that things were not going well for their "side" at all. He quickly slipped his laptop back into its holster, leaving his hands free in case he needed to flee.
Suddenly, he spotted the Dusk that managed to get behind Roxas. "Watch it!" he yelled, and without thinking jumped off the railing. Through a mix of a little skill and a lot of luck, Dib managed to land square on the Dusk's back, feet first. Once he hit the ground, crushing the Dusk beneath him, Dib quickly rolled to absorb the rest of the force. Which meant that, though his legs weren't broken, he now was very sore all over.
Shakily rising too his feet, Dib realized that perhaps that hadn't been the best idea. He also realized he was now in the thick of the battle without any sort of weapon. His response to this epiphany? "...Oh."
