Dusk Attack RAWR [Completed]

Character(s): Soma, Sword, Dusks....
Content: Soma and Sword get attacked en route to O Pastor! =O ZOMG!
Setting: H8, near Nifelheim area's Cafe Eresat
Time: Week2, afternoon
Warnings: Potential violence ahead?

Sword let out a quiet mewl of surprise as he was scooped up into the air, finding himself clinging to Soma's ankles and trying not to look at the ground. His stomach did flip-flops when he did.... It did a different kind, though, when he saw the things emerging from the energy blossoms, fully-grown flower children of hell.

They looked.... deadly. Even without the full use of their fingers. Who had managed to belt them together, anyway? Honestly, these things looked ten times scarier than most of Nightmare's monsters.... They looked unpredictable too, like they had no motor control whatsoever--the gaping blackness showing through their strange mouths suggested it was so.

He swallowed a whimper as the Dusk came at them, but was glad he'd been picked up facing backwards, jerking a little in Soma's talons to draw his sword and point. "Soma--behind us! What are those things?" He'd definitely never seen one before; it wasn't something any small group of Dreamlanders could handle, by the looks of it. Well, maybe Kirby, if he had help.... but inhaling one of those things didn't look like it would be healthy at all.

Without preamble, Soma bent down and scooped up the diminuitive little knight. With his best attempt at a reassuring smile (it looked more like a fanged grin), he said, "Don't worry. I won't let that happen. But you may want to cover your ears; breaking the sound barrier at ground level is rather loud."

They made for an interesting pair, the near-vampire and the miniature knight, the former all but cradling the latter in his crossed arms. My kingdom for a camera...

"And hold on tight..."
