New territory. [Completed]

Character(s): Shiki, Inu, and... eventually Kiriwar and the Lone power, as well as Akira.
Content: Shiki enters, and comes across quite an interesting sight.
Setting: Just inside Muspelheim.
Time: Night..ish.
Warnings: VIOLENCES, oh noez.

It was a strange place. He wasn’t sure if he liked it or hated it, mostly because he had apparently no choice in the matter of being there or not. But it was an interesting city—quaint and quiet, situated in a kingly state within the recesses of its elaborately painted domes, somehow managing to be downright gorgeous, yet subtle, homey at the same time—with a bit of intimidation mixed in. He could give it that. The line gave him time to think, to contemplate what sort of events could have lead up to this point, what sort of things may have happened to him, any miscalculations…

Preposterous. Shiki was not the one at fault; surely there was something else behind this. But there had to be some sort of explanation, and within an hour decided this as his ultimate goal: finding the secrets of this “Paixao” if it was the last thing he did. He had a tournament to win, after all—and for all he knew, this could be the doings of Vischio in order to distance him from obtaining what he was so close to, what was truly his. Hmph.

When it was his turn, Shiki’s eyes focused in on the great city that was set before him. His gaze was blank and his lips were parted—but he was most definitely interested in discovering what lay ahead him. As the girl that stood at the gate asked him, “May I have your name, sir?” his gaze didn’t waver.

“Shiki,” he replied half-heartedly, a slow half-smirk dawning on his sleek features. He felt a light metal object placed into one of his hands, and took a moment to glance down at it. A black brow quirked; what was this?

Stepping into the city, he flipped it open to give it a proper inspection. It seemed to be an electronic journal of some sort, from what he gathered--extremely useful. But he'd fiddle with it later; he had a whole city to explore now.

Just after taking a few steps into the city, taking a glance around at the impressively gorgeous (and oddly clean to him, considering where he'd come from) cityscape, his eyes didn't take long to finally rest upon a rather interesting sight. Was that... someone... tied to a pole?

Arching a brow and smirking slightly in vague interest, the man in black advanced forward to see just what this was all about. Perhaps, as Shiki moved closer, the individual who he intended to approach could pick up his distinct scent--metal, blood, and leather.

The Lone Power was disappointed when the fight stalled for the newest arrival to the area. The Lone Power remained almost flawless like a statue with his obligatory crossed arms. Well, now everyone was distracted; the fight a temporary or perhaps permanent draw.

He grimaced seeing the look Shiki was sending toward the newcomer, who had been addressed as Akira. The Lone Power hated love of any sort. One of the reasons why fetishes were not his sort of thing; although some people did find him attractive, it was only when he could use people that he actually took advantage of the seductive beauty he had kept even after he was cast out. He watched as Kiriwar managed to untie Inu. And the dog happily leaned against Kiriwar's leg. Quite a loyal "dog".

It might be a good idea to at least get his name out there, actually two of them now. He might as well reveal the second name; not the Original second name, but the one he used on occasion. At least as a self-reference.

He stepped forward while weapons were still held, but still, "Pleasure to make your acquaintances," He said calmly, completely unphased and addressing the remaining people besides Kiriwar, "Name's Cordell Black, although some call me 'Lone'." Unusually, he didn't extend a hand; it didn't look like manners mattered to these guys.
