I love you, you love me~ [completed]
Character(s): Death and Rabi and anyone else~
Content: Death meeting Rabi!
Setting: outside of Actua Are, J7
Time: Week2, late morning.
Warnings: none yet~ all the fun here is PGmaybe >3
Death had originally planned on going straight to Dream right after she leaves Kyoko, Asuka and Rei. She thought about it again, however, and decided that she will wait for Dream to call on her instead. While he is rather immature sometimes, Dream can take care of his problems by himself. Death does not like meddling in other people's cases, even though she does it so often.
And so, skipping down the streets of Paixao, Death has her favorite top hat on. It is the one given to her by the Emperor of the United States, so she always takes care not to get it dirty. Hands in her pockets, she hums her favorite Barney's song animatedly, trying her best not to break into words as that might disturb the other pedestrians. Near the end of the song, however, Death is practically swirling around in joy. She cannot help it, she loves the song so much!
"Won't you say you love me too~" she ends her humming with the last line of the song; hands raised in a dramatic way of ending a performance. Really, how can anyone not shout those words out?

She grins delightedly at Rabi, "I love you too!" Death loves everyone after all. Skipping her way back to where Rabi is, Death tips her hat in greeting, "nice to meet you, Rabi! You can call me Death." The brightness of her voice as well as the wide smile on her face makes it seem as if she just told Rabi to call her 'May Poppins' instead.

"We met once, but you were just a tiny red baby then so I'm sure you don't remember me," she explains. "Which is okay! No one ever remembers!" she gives him a bright smile.
Looking at Rabi from top to bottom, Death gives him a grin like that of a long-lost relative. "You've grown so tall!" she stands on the tips of her toes and tries to ruffle his hair. "How have you been?"

"Awesome!" she chirps out at Rabi's answer. She tries her best to supress a laughter as Rabi shuffles around awkwardly. "I'm from everywhere," she replies with a smile, "and I know everyone." While the last statement is not exactly as true as she once thought, it is mostly true anyway.
Death looks at Rabi with an amused look on her face as he starts voicing his thoughts. She thinks that she will never be able to stop squealing 'aww' in her mind at everything Rabi does.

"I am really Death," she giggles, "even though that's not all I am!" she gives Rabi a mischievous smile. She hopes he will not scamper away once the realization settles in.

"Hey! Hey, stop it!" she says inbetween her chuckles, "I'm not here on duty, I'm not your Death!" Noticing how almost everyone in the area had stopped to watch the two of them, Death lets out another giggle at Rabi's reaction. Did she already say that he is adorable? Yes, she did. Well, his adorableness kills her (no pun intended).
"Reaper is in my job description, but I don't see why 'grim' has to be there too," she explains. "No one is ever too young to die though," she gives Rabi a secretive smile, "no one is ever too old to live either."
Then, snapping out of her serious face, she picks up his hammer with smiling eyes and gives it to him, "and I never kill anyone, silly, you die then you meet me," she gives Rabi a reassuring grin. She hopes that Rabi would not burst out into another dramatic response again. It is terribly cute, but attracting too much attention is not very good.

"And people are still dying out there, and I'm still there for each and everyone of them," she grins playfully at Rabi, "I'm... everywhere, you know?"
Death watches Rabi playfully as a smile finds its way to his lips. He seems to be deep in thought, a happy one, too. "Penny for your thoughts?"

"I'm not headed anywhere," she looks around slowly as if to find something. "I was going to go and cheer my brother up, but he's old enough to cheer himself up so I'll just wait 'til he comes to me," she turns back to Rabi. "What about you, Mr. Bookman?" She links her hands behind her and leans to Rabi like a playful kid. If asked, Death would say that it is because she is still a kid at heart. Everyone is allowed moments of childish delight in their lives, she cannot see why that would be denied of her. The world would be a much happier place if more people come out to dance in the rain and skip on the mud.
Then, reminded of the bill she shoved into her pocket earlier that morning, she let out a casual "oh!" and pulled it out to remind herself of the amount of money she still owes to the hospital. "I need to find a job, I'm in debt, see?" she dangles the bill with her two fingers with a cheeky grin. "What do you guys call people who don't got jobs and who are in debt?" she taps her finger against her cheek in thought, "Bum, isn't it?"

She lets out an amiable chuckle at Rabi's question, "Two friends of mine landed themselves in a hospital, see? And they didn't have any money," she explains. "They have things they need to do," Death does not elaborate more about Evangelions and NERV, it would just confuse Rabi, "I got all the time in the world to get a job and pay it off!" She grins. Death has a full-time job, but hey, she is all over the place anyway so it does not make much difference. "It's a pity I never used my time to earn myself a college degree, my current job doesn't pay me much at all." she giggles at her own joke.
"So then Rabi, how did you land yourself in Paixao?" She asks him casually. Death is still extremely curious about this place, and how so many people have found themselves transported mysteriously here. She could ask Destiny, of course, but she knows he would not tell her anything really useful. Besides, going around investigating just sounds so fun!

"I was originally looking for my sister, but now I'm just walking around," she grins sheepishly. It is hardly a vacation, but the people here are interesting! Well, everyone are, but she loves talking to people while they are alive, not after. "It's strange, several of my siblings are here too, even though they tend to stay at their own realm most of the time." Looking at Rabi with a slightly more serious expression on her face, Death asks, "Do you think it's a coincidence that so many people found themselves here?"

"Yeah," she flips her journal around as if to emphasize her point, "these things would cost a real lot if they're sold, I would think." It makes her very worried, because her brother and sister and sister-brother are here. Desire might not be her favorite sibling, but Death still loves it anyway.
"I have a theory..." she lets her voice trails away for a moment, examining her journal. "whoever gave us the journals probably want us writing in them, right? Maybe they want to keep us sane by giving us something to talk to!" Putting a finger on her bottom lip in thought, Death thinks about her hypothesis over before saying them outloud, "Or maybe they want us to find each other through the journals?" Slightly furrowing her brows at her journal, Death says in a graver tone, "Or they want to be able to find us..."

"Say, do you know where we can find a party?" She grins almost sheepishly at Rabi. "I want to meet tons of people!"

alongside with Yuuzillaand finding a person is never really that hard for Death. She can go to Linali right now if she wants, but she doesn't want to; Rabi is special even among the billions she has met during her existence. No, not lifetime."That sounds peachy!" She gives Rabi a wider grin while taking off her top hat and dusting it off. "We should go now!" She exclaims cheerfully, linking her right arm with Rabi's while placing the top hat back on her head with her left hand. "I know where Linali is, but which of your friends do you want to go to first?" Death knows about
YuuzillaKanda, but the thought of someone not liking her never stopped her from liking them anyway. Besides, those people form the majority of the living.no subject

"She's right inside!" Death replies, pointing towards the hotel just in front of them. Her arms linked with Rabi, she skips forward, tugging him along with her. "Cmon, let's walk," she grins back at him, "don't tell me you're so lazy that you need to use your hammer!"

Giggling a little, she takes Rabi's arm back before telling him the rest of the story, "a beautiful fairy helped him fight the big bad wolf. The big bad wolf was very strong so defeating it was hard, but in the end little red riding hood won!" She recites the story like one speaking to a child, even if the mischievous glint in her eyes might say otherwise. "Linali came afterwards and helped heal little red riding hood because he was hurt by the big bad wolf," she smiles at him to signal the ending to her story.
"And of course, they live happily ever after in this story," she gives Rabi a grin. "In this story, I don't come to any of them except for the big bad wofl."

Letting his questions hang for a moment, she walks purposefully to the center of the lobby before twirling around to face Rabi. "That wolf didn't eat his grandma," she states, quite aware of the fact that the statement answers neither of the two questions. "But there are more dangerous wolves out of that door right now, and they want to eat you," she tells Rabi with a grin as if she was telling him about the weather being funny instead.
"It's a busy day for me today, but I get to meet lots of people; can't really complain," she gives a slight shrug. "I've met you already though," a grin, "I don't want to meet you again at work, so you better stay here where it's safer, 'kay?"

Death figures he is welcome to go with her if he wants to. Once she taught her sibling that they are in essence servants of the mortals, after all, and what servant would ever dare tell one's master what to do? Or in this case, what not to do?
Her smile brightening slightly, she shifts her weight to her other foot when Rabi closes his journal and takes out his hammer. Death practically beams at him like a proud parent does to her child when Rabi explains to her what he is going to do. "I owe you a date then," she agrees with a wink. Walking closer to Rabi, she puts her smiley face pin on Rabi's coat. "For luck!" she giggles while taking a step back as if to admire him. "Now shoo then, you got lots to do!"
