oishisou yo~~~ [complete!]
Character(s): Miso!
Content: Miso spreads the wonders of soup to Paixao. Maybe.
Setting:Soupenheim Niflheim gate! :3
Time: Week 2, Afternoon.
Warnings: None! :O
Miso must've got up on the wrong side of the tofu. She vaguely remembered rolling a katamari down a race-track in her ricebowl!mobile, but she must have taken a detour. Well, she thought she took a detour. But Miso, being a cousin of very little brain, didn't take into account that her bowlmobile was not there, nor was her katamari. She had an explanation and she was convinced that it made sense, as things often did. Or, she thought they did. Miso was not sure.
At least her miso was safe. Miso did not know how. She was convinced that she had super washoku powers that kept the soup from spilling out of its bowl. Miso must a very important cousin!
Miso looked up and around her. There was a big, scary stone monster and people walking right through its mouth. She didn't understand why the stone monster was eating so many people, but from what she could see, the stone monster's belly looked exciting. The buildings were shiny and people's heads had yellow strings coming out of them. Maybe they were leaking from their heads!! Miso hoped that the stone monster would eat her too, because she was very soupy. She hoped the stone monster liked soup.
Then she noticed that, to have the big stone monster eat you, you had to go through a line. Miso decided quickly that this was because the stone monster had to choose the tasty looking people from the ickle people. Miso didn't like ickle people, nor did she like ickle soup. She sympathized with Stoney. That was his name now, and she dubbed him an honorary cousin simply because he liked tasty things and so did she.
Miso decided that she would let Stoney eat her. She sat upright and rubbed her eyes a bit, and that was when she noticed she had hands. Oh! Hands! Miso held them out in front of her and admired the pretty people-hands. They weren't red like they were supposed to be, but she liked them anyway. She also liked how her nails were purple and shiny. Shiny was good, and shiny meant pretty! Miso was, therefore, pretty. She was now pretty and tasty, and that in her mind guaranteed her entry.
She stood, trying to maintain her balance on her wobbly people-legs. Her happi was a little bit too big, and the sleeves covered her hands when she put them down at her sides... which she didn't like, because her hands were pretty and she wanted everyone to see them. But her happi was very pretty, too. And her pants were pretty. And her blocky feet were pretty because they made her look taller, and taller was better than smaller. Taller meant you could reach things on shelves like miso paste and dashi stock.
So the soupy cousin wobbled on her dashi stock-reaching legs and approached the line, and she looked around at the people. Everyone had strings spilling out of their heads. So did she, but she hadn't noticed yet. When she got to the front, she stumbled a bit and leaned on the podium for support.
"Uh..." The woman behind the podium with pretty strings just watched her. Miso straigthened out and made sure her bowl was still safe, then smiled her sweetest smile.
"Miso wants to go inside and get eaten by Stoney!" she exclaimed. She did expect the pretty lady to know what she meant.
"Um... oh. Okay?" She looked around for Miso's parents. But Miso did not have parents! "What's your name, hon?"
"Miso's name is Miso, and she wants to go inside! Is she allowed to go inside?"
"Suuure, sweetie. Here," and she handed her something shiny and square, not round like a katamari. What was it? "Welcome to Paixao."
"Miso says thank you! She likes you very much."
And Miso proudly marched her way through Stoney into the pretty shiny city place called Piesore. Miso did not like pies, though. She liked miso, and you can not make a miso pie. She tried.
They would have to change the name. Miso said so.
