Content: Entering Paixao :D
Setting: Muspelheim
Time: Week2, uh... afternoon :3
Warnings: She's a shroom.
The sun was warm. Kinoko could feel it from her cap to her toes, which were wiggling pleasently inside of her boots. Wiggle, wiggle. The sun was so very nice that it took her a while to realize that she was not on Earth where she had been. She was not standing so very still next to a tree in the shade up to her ankles in dirt. This was somewhat distressing, and she found herself in a sea of knees.
"...oh. Oh no. This is not at all good," Kinoko said to herself as she looked at the back of one unfamiliar knee to another. Some of them were wearing jeans and some were wearing skirts (which would have made her blush, had she been the blushing sort of cousin). They seemed to all be so very patient, and never being one to rock to boat, Kinoko would be patient as well.
She shifted, very carefully as to not let so much dust fall off of her rain boots, from foot to foot as the line slowly plodded forward. Finally it was her turn, but all she could see was a wall. A voice called out from above her, "Name...?" but she couldn't quite see the person she was supposed to be addressing. Hoping she wasn't being too rude, Kinoko grabbed the edge of the counter and pulled herself up a little, peeking up at the gatekeeper. A kindly old man smiled down at her and asked again, "Name?"
"...K-Kinoko," She whispered, and then let go, dropping back down to the ground. Oh no, she hoped that he would forgive her for doing that! She had just been too curious. Surprisingly enough he was now leaning over the counter and holding down a small orange rectangle.
"Welcome to Paixao, Kinoko, if you would just continue on through the gate," He gave her a smile. Kinoko ducked her head, and held the rectangle so very close to her chest. He was too nice to Kinoko, she thought, who had been too rude by using his counter as a pull up bar.
"Thank you!" She did remember to thank him, however, and scuttled into 'Paixao'. Oh dear. Oh no no no. Oh my. She was certainly not where she was supposed to be.
