In Sane We Trust [Completed]
Character(s): Hitsugaya Toushirou, Shihouin Yoruichi, and whoever else waltzs in?
Content: Two members of the Soul Society meet once again
Setting: Actua Are Hotel [J7]
Time: Week Two, Early Evening
Warnings: n/a
He was free... free from the insanity of Urahara and Captain Jackwho he still did not believe was a captain. The tiny taicho knew Hinamori had to be safe with whomever was helping her and, as much as he'd hate to admit it, with Urahara. The man was a genius by all standards and was a captain of the Gotei 13 at one point. She should be safe enough for now.
And what about Rangiku? Hitsugaya had told her to 'keep an eye on Ichimaru'. He could only wonder what the two of them were up to now. Hopefully she had spoken with him enough to lighten her mood. A remorse adjunct was as good as dead in an unfamiliar territory with unknown enemies.
Hitsugaya soon found himself wandering the city after he left the museum. It was very different from the Soul Society and Seireitei. It had four districts, not eighty like the Rukongai. The most central part of it was some station of sorts. No, this city was very different from the Soul Society.
The day was more than filled with observations. The shinigami found time dwindling away and the streets beginning to darken. It was too late to head back to the hotel Matsumoto was at. He would have to stay somewhere else for the night.
"Actua Are Hotel..." Hitsugaya read, stopping briefly before entering the building. "Strange name."

The idea of wandering the streets as a cat did come to her. But she still hadn't forgotten what happened during the last time had taken that form.
Cat-hating bastards.
Anyways, with that idea thrown out, what else left for her to do? Using flash steps to check out Paixao had gotten boring and repetitive after the 6th time of searching for any information. Still, maybe something new had turned up in the center of town since last visiting it.
Leaving the room she and Urahara were staying in, Yoruichi, wearing her usual orange and black outfit, walked down the stairs and into the main lobby where she saw a rather familiar face.
"Captain Hitsugaya...? Isn’t this a surprise." She said, walking towards him. "I didn't know you where here too."
no subject
"Shihouin Yoruichi," Histugaya inclined his head, greeting her. "I'm a little surprised to see you here myself. Did you arrive recently?"
Of course there was more than curiousity behind his question. If Yoruichi had been here longer than he had she would know more of their surroundings. That was the exact information that he was looking for. The more he knew, the sooner they could get out and return to the Soul Society.

"I've been here for a few days now, staying at this hotel until something comes up and lets me go back." She scratched her head and sighed. "It hasn't been easy though. I can't get in contact with Soul Society at all, and I haven't been able to obtain any information about this place."
Yoruichi wondered if the Seireitei and other squad captains were aware of Hitsugaya's disappearance. It wasn't every day that a Captain just went missing like this.
"Oh, Kisuke's here too. You haven't seen him around, have you?"
no subject
"Nothing?" The disappointment was evident in Hitsugaya's voice. So much for his plans.
The shinigami crossed his arms and sighed. "I have not been able to get in contact with them either. I've been trying to use this journal, which is similar to our phone system, but have had no luck."
The journals were run electronically, just like the phones, and connected to a network of sorts. The difference was they were connected to a different network than that of the Soul Society and had other, more pointless features.
"Urahara?" Hitsugaya raised an eyebrow. "Did you bring him here with you? He's been bothering Hinamori Momo and myself all morning."
no subject
"Hmm? No. I came here first and he arrived a bit later. He was the one who found me though. I was... busy with something else at the moment and didn't notice him until he was right next to me."
Yoruichi then asked Hitsugaya about something else that had caught her attention. "Hinamori's here too? I had no idea." First him, and now a vice-captain? This was getting serious. Exactly how many from Soul Society had been brought here?
"When and where did you last see her?"
no subject
"Yes, Hinamori's here." Hitsugaya answered. "As is Ichimaru Gin and my vice-captain, Matsumoto Rangiku. The two are currently in the north-eastern half of the city. I assigned Matsumoto to keep an eye on Ichimaru and stay put.
"And I didn't see Hinamori until just this morning. She's staying a Matteus Muesem of Art with the manager there. I'm assume she, and Urahara, are still in that area somewhere."
The tiny taicho paused and then frowned. "Why do you ask?"
no subject
"Just trying to make as much sense of the situation as I can."
She took a couple of steps away from Hitsugaya and looked at him over her shoulder. "I'm going over there to see what Kisuke's up to." She then took out a small key and tossed it at the Captain. "The number on it is our room. You can stay in it if you want."
[OOC: This'll be my final post for this thread right now. Do you want to make another one, or just close it like it is?]
