Empty Dialog [Completed]
Characters: Aizen, Soujirou, and whoever else may want to be graced by the godmodder's presence.
Content: Aizen decides it is best to explore Paixao before continuing with any of his plans. There he meets a few new faces...
Setting: Random Street [K6]
Time: Week 2, Mid-Morning
Warnings: Just the usual Aizen-Evil
It had been a long day. Too long, in fact. The birth of Oscuro had been a complete success. It had been almost too easy. This city seemed to just be handing him the tools he needed. That was quite odd indeed. But then again, so was this place.
The shinigami decided to spend the day learning the geography. With shunpo, or flash-step, this was quite an easy feat. He had already made it across and around the city but even for a shinigami of his caliber, shunpo took quite a bit of energy to preform. It was best to stop and rest every now and again.
Sadly, there were very few places Aizen could stop if he wished to avoid the mindless citizens of Paixao. Their presence was not exactly something he welcome.
Luckily he had stumbled across a suitable. It was a small but well lit street. Very few of the clone citizens were around, only to the delight of Aizen.
A quaint wooden bench then beckoned Aizen to rest. How could he refuse?
The ex-captain sat and sighed. There was just so much to do and so little time... Golden eyes were cast skyward to the suitable clouds and sun.
Now he could not decide if this place was a blessing or a curse.

Unfortunately he tended to slow down his running and find that he had overshot his target by a good few 'sections', as the map indicated. The young assasin had been at Cid's place with Tifa but having nothing to do he'd headed off to see if there was any road signs to Kyoto.
He, to the casual observer, seemed to just appear out of nowhere, but in reality he just skidded to a stop. "...ara..?" The journal and flipped out (he'd gotten the hang of it rather quickly and found that the map was very helpful) to check his position.
"...hm, K6." He hadn't been to this area before, so that was nice. The customary smile was pasted all over his face as he looked around. It wasn't that far from Cid's shop, actually, so he must have gone in a circle somewhere. "...ahahaha."

Gin. What was he up to
other than his usual conniving schemes? He had been gone for quite some time. Aizen was less than worried about his well being but Gin had been acting strange, as of late. Aizen would eventually have to find the shinigami and not let him out of his sight again. He was more than aware of Ichimaru's infatuation with Matsumoto Rangiku. Should she be here in Paixao...A figure walking down the street caught the attention of the ex-captain. A child? The first trait Aizen noticed was the boy's hair. It was dark. He was yet another person of a different world. He was also carrying one of the journals.
Huh. How many people from other worlds had come here?
The shinigami returned his gaze to the sky. He only needed to rest awhile longer before he returned to the museum. Should the boy want to talk, he would have to approach Aizen himself.

This man could be from Soujirou's Japan, maybe. He didn't look like he was from Asuka-san's Japan, but maybe he wasn't from Japan at all - like Tifa-san and Cid-san. That would certainly be interesting. Despite his lack of suspicions, he did touch the sword at his side, briefly, just to remind him that it was there.
no subject
The boy bowed and Aizen inclined his head in a respectful manner. There was no reason to be rude, especially since the child had used manners first. The shinigami would have found his smile a little unnerving but after being around Ichimaru so much, it would be difficult to make Aizen uncomfortable with a mere smile.
The shinigami sat up and looked intently at the boy. "And who might you be?"
no subject
He bet that the other was someone important, or someone in some sort of position of power. He held himself in the same sort of way that Shishio-san did. Comfortably. Himura-san held himself comfortably too, but there was just something disgusting about the other.
no subject
Well, no reason to beat about the bush. Aizen was here to learn more of Paixao and it's visitors.
"Soujirou-kun, where are you from?"
no subject
"Maa~ Kyoto... I think!" He offered up, "...probably." Soujirou added, just in case he wasn't. He hoped he was still from Kyoto, or did the man mean where he was born? Or where he had been going? Oh well.
no subject
"Kyoto?" Aizen asked. Soujirou did not seem all that confident in his answer and Aizen was not looking for guesses, just absolute facts.
"Could you be any more specific, Soujirou-kun? Is that a town? A country? A world?"
no subject
The boy stopped moving for a moment, not going completely still, but he was evaluating the situation. Not in the same way that a real swordmaster would have done, but in his own crooked way. "...I would ask you something, but I still don't have a name to call you by~" Completely unthreatening, as always, but it was clear that Soujirou would stall conversation unless he got an answer.
He was good at stalling conversation.
no subject
But Soujirou... he was curious as well. Perhaps it would be best to satisfy a little of his hunger.
"My name is Aizen Sosuke."
no subject
Soujirou bowed again, more on reflex than anything else. He couldn't feel kenki, and didn't understand intimidation, but if he did his reaction might have been different. The young assasin continued to smile along.
"Ne~ you're not from Japan, then? Ahaha, I would have guessed you were!"
no subject
Yes. He would have to interrogate Soujirou further.
"I did not mention that I was not from Japan, Soujirou-kun," Aizen smiled a little. "But you are very apt. When did you arrive in Paixao? You seemed a little lost so perhaps you have not been here long."
no subject
The tenken raised one foot and tapped his toe against the ground, settling the woven sandel on his foot a little better. He wouldn't want to have loose shoes or anything, that'd be bad.
no subject
His old, gentle smile, the one used during his time in the Soul Society, was now clear as crystal. Aizen even managed to chuckle a very authentic sounding chuckle.
"No, I supposed I could, couldn't I? But I'll tell you this, Soujirou-kun, I am not from Japan. I am from another world entirely."
The bait had been cast.
no subject
"...that's interesting!" Soujirou commented, but like all things in life didn't really perk his interest -- it was just something people expected him to say. He supposed, somewhere in the back of his mind, that he should be interested, but it just didn't hold his attention. Not like much did besides death and strength.
And the odd quandry of Himura-san and his not-killing. But Soujirou didn't want to think about that too.
no subject
"Quite." Aizen replied, sitting back and steepling his fingers. "Where are you staying, Soujirou-kun? With citizens of Paixao?"
no subject
Aha, that would be funny.
no subject
"I am sure they are very kind people," Aizen inclined his head at the boy. "You should always remember to thank them for their hospitality."
"I am staying at the Matteus Museum of Art with a few people from my own home, if that answers your question."
no subject
no subject
And people from his own world? Aizen already thought of himself as blessed. Both Ulquiorra and Hinamori had appeared at the same time with Okita. Okita later became the newest arrankar, Oscuro. Yes. It was more than nice.
It was lucky.
no subject
Afterall, he if they were nice and strong and didn't do anything stupid like protecting the weak he'd get along with them fine.
Ha. Protecting the weak, what a... an irritating idea.
no subject
"Now what kind of thing would make you think that, Soujirou-kun? Why would a person deserve death?"
This wasn't a question that Aizen did not know the answer to but rather the answer varied from person to person.
Let the question be considered a... test if you will.
no subject
Then he opened his eyes and grinned.
"...and those who protect the weak, that's wrong. It doesn't make sense," now he was complaining a little, and the smile didn't seem so in place. It irritated Soujirou, that concept. And he didn't like to be irritated, because he wasn't supposed to be irritated.
no subject
Of course he was not going to tell Soujirou this. It was time to play the devil's advocate.
"It does not make sense? How? Life is given to all. Is it your place to take it?" Aizen paused momentarily, simply to let the boy think. This was now a test to see if he was truly worthy. "And Tifa-san and Cid-san, do you think they are weak?"
no subject
"Everyone's life ends, Aizen-san," Soujirou replied, "I don't have to take it, but eventually someone stronger will, that's how the world works. If they are weak, then they'll die. If they're not, then they'll live." It wasn't really an answer, but as close as Soujirou was going to give. He didn't know if they were weak, but it didn't trouble him if they were.
no subject
It was obvious that this boy was also obsessed with power. His confidence that he would be able to take a life was overwhelming. But how long until he confidence ran out?
"Then what, do you think, happens after life ends, Soujirou-kun?" Aizen's golden eyes connected with Soujiou's. "Is death the end of the road or is there more that follows?"
no subject
"...I've never died, Aizen-san. I'm afraid I can't answer that question," Soujirou nodded, that was the best response. He didn't know, and it wasn't so bad to admit that. "...but even if there's something after life... life is still over." He said it like a finality. Soujirou wanted to live, because if there was something beyond life... well, maybe then dying wouldn't have been so bad.
no subject
Looking intently at the child, Aizen continued. "Would you like to know what happens after death? The life that lingers on in the souls of the departed? The souls of both the weak and the strong?"
no subject
"...No. No thank you, Aizen-san. They live and then they die, if something important happens after death... it doesn't matter for those of us still living." There, that sounded like a good answer to him.
no subject
It was a typical response from the living. Why ruin your own view of the world if you were happy with it? More often than not people were happy with known what they know already and didn't feel they needed to know more. Soujirou seemed to fall into that category. It almost disappointed Aizen... but no matter. He would continue.
"The living and the dead are always connected, at least they are where I hail from." The shinigami continued. A smile flickered across his lips. "Do you believe in ghosts, Soujirou-kun?"
no subject
"...is that so, Aizen-san?" Soujirou replied, not asking for more information, but not actively resisting any either. This was like talking to Himura-san, only better, in a way. Perhaps he just needed to apply himself to this other way of thinking to make it make sense. "I haven't thought about ghosts, if there are any, none of them have ever troubled me~" another priceless smile was offered up.
no subject
It seemed that if Aizen didn't strike a nerve, he at least caught Soujirou's undivided attention. The flicker of a frown upon the boy's face was the only indication that Aizen needed.
"I come from a world there the living do not exist, Soujirou-kun." The once-captain announced. "And in that world there are more than one type of 'ghost'."
no subject
"...ah? Ara..?" Was the first response he had to that, "...You're from Hell?" There wasn't a 'Heaven' in Soujirou's vocabularly.
no subject
That question was not exactly something that Aizen expected but he certainly was not thrown off. Soujirou's mind seemed to work much differently from other members of the living world. Interesting. Just how far-fetched were his thought patterns? Was it simply because of his personality or is it a trait that all boys in his world shared?
"I hail from the Soul Society. It is a peaceful place under the watch of the shinigami. At least... I did originally."
no subject
"Soul Society? I've never heard of that," Shinigami. Death God. Soujirou turned it over in his head, "...a peaceful place? Ahaha, the world you come from must be very odd."
no subject
"I am actually surprised that they have maintained such a peace despite the war-like state they are in. A battle in multiple worlds is difficult to participate in if you wish to maintain order in your own world."
Soujirou seemed to be interested in what Aizen was saying but would he catch his hints?
no subject
"Do you wish to maintain order?" Soujirou asked, but he found the answer not that interesting. It would be in how Aizen-san replied that he would care. Soujirou only wished to attach himself to those who are strong.
no subject
And there we had it. The test for Aizen. This was the first time that Soujirou had asked a question on his own, or rather, had asked a question that Aizen did not lead him into.
A sly smile peeled across Aizen's lips as he spoke. Time to take the biggest step.
"The order of the Soul Society will be mine to choose.
no subject
"...I see," The tenken mulled over that, giving Aizen a look. This wasn't the kind of person he could measure so easily. "You must be very strong." This was said almost tentatively, because Soujirou wasn't sure if this was an 'appropriate' answer for Aizen-san.
no subject
"You could say that," Aizen murmured as he rose to his feet. "I have yet to find my rival from any world."
The shinigami turned to look toward the north before. "I fear I must be returning to my temporary home, Soujirou-kun. If you truly do not like where you are staying, I will allow you to come with me. I have met quite a few already who have taken up on this offer. Shall you join me?"
no subject
"If you don't mind, Aizen-san~,I wouldn't want to impede you~"
Again, he was unsure. This might not be the best course of action, but he was sure of one thing. Aizen was stronger than Tifa, and stronger than Cid. And Aizen said some interesting things that Soujirou wanted to know more about, they kept his mind off of the things Himura-san would say.
no subject
"Then shall we?" He asked, turning to head down the street.
It seemed that he had caught yet another one.
