Despite the spiky-haired boy's antics (a.k.a. fry piercing and soda spraying), Linali enjoyed her lunch with the Storm Riders. They were interesting individuals, and she didn't find herself unsatisfied with their stories. She had been explained of the Air Trek world, Ikki's and Agito's histories, and more miscellaneous things here and there. It was all so fascinating. Ikki was full of confidence and flair: a spirit to admire; Akito was so sweet and full of cute, like a little brother! Agito, whom the girl found out to be Akito's other half, was very much like a certain swordsman she knew. The ex-Fang King had a hard exterior, but by the end of the hour he was speaking more fluently. She smiled and her eyes sparkled.
As Ikki inquired Akito about money matters, Linali pulled a large coin from her pouch and placed it on the table. "In Paixao, there isn't a constant currency. Paper money seems to be useless here, unfortunately, but I've inferred that the bigger the better and the shinier the more valuable. This coin should cover my half and perhaps Akito-kun's portion," she explained softly. Indeed all she said was true for she had conversed with the hotel receptionist the other day when she paid some of the bills. Hmm... I think I need to get a job soon...
In any case, the meal was fully paid and Linali bid her farewells, graciously thanking both Ikki and Akito for inviting her. She excused herself by saying that she had things to do (which she did), but she'd be more than happy to meet up again another time! She gave the Kogarasumaru members a hearty hug, grinning widely.
With that, the exorcist began her walk back to the hotel.
