Family Reunion? No, not quite. [Complete]

Character(s): The Prince, Jenet, Dante
Content: Jenet and The Prince reunite. What happens next? No idea.
Setting: Near Joutenheim Actua Are - N9
Time: Sunday Afternoon
Warnings: The Prince is capable of angst?

The Prince was glad his cousin, Ichigo, wasn't there or else he would probably have eaten her. Still, a friend would have been nice. The Prince felt so alone. Starving and alone. His stomach rumbled for the--who knew how many times it was now? The Prince had stopped counting. Even the fun of counting things had lost its appeal. Instead he wandered aimlessly through the streets of... that Pie place. What was it called again? Pie, pie, pie-something. Pie. The Prince could use a pie. Or any type of food for that matter. Again he wondered why the name of the city would include something it so lacked. What a horrible city. A horrible, no-pies city. No-pie.

He continued down the streets of No-pie, before coming to a stop and sitting down. He sat with his legs curled up so he could rest his head on top of his knees. He stared at the ground for a long moment before covering his face with his arms. After hours of walking and little sleep, The Prince was starting to feel the effects. It was too bright out. He wished his father was there to turn off the sun or was just there to be with him. He wished he could do home.

The Green Dragon had officially won the honored and nigh-unattainable position of BEST DRINK EVER in Dante’s mind. He had never had a drink that could knock him out of commission for almost two solid days. Dante prided himself on his high tolerance of all things alcoholic. It was among many of the boons that being half-devil brought to the table. But that drink had taken him for one wild ride, all right. Of course, it would have been much better if he could remember most of that ride.

It couldn’t have been that bad if the two of them had made it back to a hotel, checked in, and got to their room without incident. And better yet, Dante was able to find that nothing valuable was missing. He was able to locate his prized weaponry pretty easily. (Leaving things in the bathtub was pretty uncreative, especially for Dante’s raucous drunk side.) The clincher: his coat wasn’t ruined. So they were able to make it to a toilet when the drinks got too strong. That Green Dragon was definitely special.

Dressed and equipped properly once again, and completely hangover-free, Dante decided to stick around Jenet some more. She was a fun chick, all right. Who knew what fun they’d run into, now that they were back on their feet? Sure, Dante was used to being on his own and taking charge, but this girl had shared not only a night but also a bed with him. They did nothing, of course, but still! That was progress, especially in a weird place like this.

Once outside the hotel, though, Dante was surrounded by unfamiliarity. This certainly wasn’t the Vanaheim area. He’d started getting familiar with that place, too. This wasn’t it. Maybe it was time to reevaluate the glories of those Green Dragons. What had happened?

Dante came up behind Jenet’s right shoulder, looking warily from side to side. “Jenet, did we take some sort of field trip the other night?” That was as close as he’d get to admitting he was lost.
