Characters: Tifa, Soujirou, & anyone else who wants to join.
Content: Tifa finally reaches Cid's shop and asks for a job
Setting: The area near Cid's Shop
Time: Monday2, evening.
Warnings: None as yet.
It had been a couple of hours since her last meeting with Genjyo Sanzo, and Tifa Lockhart was relieved to finally approach her destination. Having kept up a punishing pace for almost half a day in an effort to get here before it got really late, the young fighter's limbs were aching.
And it didn't help that she hadn't had a drink in over a day, either.
Ignoring her body's cries for relief, she continued, the strange gazes of the citizens that were constantly on her were already pushed to the back of her mind. She had more important things to do; water, rest, and a bed were but a few of them.

Jumping slightly at the familiar, but sudden voice that came up behind them, Tifa whirled around to see Vincent, her startled expression melting into a smile. Actually seeing a familiar figure in Paixao - no matter how stoic he was - comforted her somewhat.
"Vincent!" It was a good thing that he'd remembered her as well. She had spoken to Aerith through the journals earlier, and she'd mentioned something about...Hollow Bastion, a place Tifa was sure was not located in the Slums, or anywhere else in her world, really.
The dark-haired gunslinger was like she'd always remembered, tall, dark, brooding, and most importantly, a friend. "It's good to see you,"
“ONE MINUTE!”
The grumpy bellow was enough to draw her attention, and Tifa fought not to laugh. It was an absurd notion, really, but he sounded so much like the Cid Highwind she knew that she couldn't help but be amused. I wonder if this Cid curses just as fluently.
[ OMG. Haha, great Cid you're playing! :D ]
Then came Highwind's voice from inside, and Vincent found himself almost grinning. Not only had he just met up with Tifa, there was Highwind, who he felt like it had been ages since he had last seen him. Too busy with his airships back home, it seemed.
"Highwind," Vincent said through the door, his voice actually containing a hint of friendliness, that wasn't often expressed. "open the door already," he said, barely containing a smile.
