One-sided meetings

Character(s): Seifer and Leon
Content: Seifer gets confused as to who Leon really is
Setting: Near the gate at Joutenheim
Time: Early afternoon
Warnings: Nothing as of yet, Seifer will probably use some mild bad language.

It took a moment for Seifer to familiarize himself with this area, this was a far cry from the fields of Balamb. Everything felt so bright, almost like the whole area had this weird artificial glow to it, and by the looks of it some people nearby were as perplexed as he was by it. In one hand he had his gunblade and in the other was this strange new piece of technology he had been given (they had refered to it as a diary) and curiosity took the better of Seifer for a moment as he tested it out. As soon as he had entered in his whinge he made a move to walk deeper into the city when... Low and behold, he spotted someone he actually recognized!

It was Squall, no doubt, it looked exactly like him, even the scar was there, but... Something was different, his hair was longer, he had a bigger build to him, and those clothes were altered too. If anything, he also looked older than Seifer, not just a little older either, years older. Despite not entirely understanding the situation Seifer couldn't let this opportunity pass him by, he had to say something.

"... Heh, you too, Squall?"

So, maybe it wasn't so much that he had been flung here by accident, maybe it was a test of strength? Maybe it was fate? Seifer was a firm believer in fate, pre-ordained destinies, that sort of thing, it was those beliefs that had nurtured his romantic dreams. But this was irrelevant, Squall was here, this was not the time for letting his guard down with speculation on 'destiny'.
