Ah, the name. A name had a lot of power, it was a definition and eventually how people defined. The Corinthian wondered if his true name would be a bit of a hassle. Certainly, when the gate-woman had offered his choices they had been... unlike the names he was used to. He was used to Cain, Abel, Eve, Dream, Morpheus, old names with powers. And he had no name, just a title.

"...you can call me Jack."

It was a bit of a joke, really. Jack the Ripper, a serial killer who had only killed five women, but he had made the papers and was a legend. His other self had thought to aspire to that level of infamy. He had no such goals.

"May I inquire as to your name?"
