I've got the worst hangover ever. [Complete]
Characters: Dante & B. Jenet
Content: The aftermath of last night's little alcohol-filled gathering.
Setting: Joutenheim's Actua Are [N9]
Time: Saturday, Mid-Afternoon
Warnings: Language
It would be night in a couple of more hours, but Jenet was still knocked out from last night's crazy party. She laid relatively motionless in her bed, arm placed over her eyes, effectively keeping the sunlight that was coming in through the room's only window from hitting her eyes.
But by now, the effects of the alcohol had at least dwindled down enough for her to regain consciousness. Jenet slowly opened her eyes, but rapidly closed them again. Since when did the sun get so damn bright?
Groaning some more, she placed a hand over face and let out as many curse words she knew.
Jenet laid in her bed for a couple of more minutes, trying to get her bearings straight. Of course, the throbbing headache she had right now wasn't making it any easier for her. After more cursing and failed attempts at falling back asleep, Jenet dragged herself out of bed to close that damn window. The darkened room was much better for her eyes but did little for her headache...
And to make things worse, the bed seemed so much farther away than before. Hell.
Lucky for her, there was a chair nearby. Sitting on it, her thoughts went back to last night. At least, she would've attempted to do that if she wasn't so damn hungover. But hey, a hangover this bad meant that it must've been one crazy party, with lots and lots of alcohol.
"Well... at least I got drunk off my arse, and I somehow managed to get back to my room in Muspel...whatever." She attempted to laugh, but it only made her headache worse. "Goddamn it, my head's killing me. What I wouldn't give for some aspirin, and a pack of ice."

And then things got kinda grey. And painful. No, no. He wasn’t about to leave that cozy, pain-free place. He clung to it ferociously. No matter how hard he held on, it slipped away. Kind of like trying to hold onto wet, slick soap. It wasn’t happening.
Who knew waking up could be so painful?
With a groan, Dante slit open his eyes. His head had to have been steamrolled. Definitely. And maybe backed over a few times in a car, trampled on by a gigantic crowd, and probably chewed on by a pit bull. And then pissed on. Yes. That almost summed up how bad the hangover was.
Where the hell was he? Well, to find that out, he’d have to open his eyes more, and that was too hard now. Okay. How did the place feel? He moved his arms slowly around. Ah, this was a bed, a pretty nice one at that. And that spot right there was really warm, as if someone had just gotten up moments ago. He paused then. Yesterday he’d been with Jenet. They went drinking, and… Who knew what happened then. If he’d shared a bed with Jenet, that suggested he’d been pretty damn lucky! Maybe he’d even scored. Unlikely, though. Scoring almost never happened when he got drunk off his ass. Something stupid always came flying out of his mouth and ruined things. Or… other things got in the way.
But the bed was warm! Someone had been with him. It was probably a hotel room. Still in that damned Paixao place, of course. Well, if this place had drinks strong enough to give him the worst hangover ever…Maybe it wasn’t such a bad place. Oh, man. Lady HAD to try that drink. She could use a good, strong burn.
Why was he thinking of Lady? Jenet was probably close by. Summoning most of his strength, he sat up a little more and tried to open his eyes again. He saw her briefly nearby before he lay down again, quickly throwing a pillow over his eyes. The worst hangover ever was a mild understatement to what was happening. His brain was probably trying to force its way out his nostrils or something. Pain alllll over.
“Ugh, Jenet, where are we?” Dante asked feebly from beneath the pillow.

Removing her arm, she opened up one of her eyes and looked at her bed. Yep, he was there alright, making himself right at home. Wait a minute... Since when was her bed big enough for two people? Jenet may have been drunk last night and hungover right now, but could still remember that her room had 2 beds, not one.
Maybe she'd gotten a new room last night? It was certainly possible considering what had happened. She only hoped that Auron or the Prince didn't happen to see her in that drunken mess.
"So... how're ya holding up over there?"
