In Your Darkest Hour, Call to Me

Character(s): Ansem and Emizel
Content: A Heartless comes to do what he does best
Setting: Wherever Emizel is
Time: Midday
Warnings: Ansem :|b

Ansem was no stranger to loss. It was part of that which was life, and one of the things that most people could expect to experience. Of course, it hardly bothered him - why be bothered about the loss of one particular heart - but for those who still lived in the light? Oh, there were many ways to injure a heart and none of them more so than loss.

Thus, it should hardly have been a surprise when he came to Emizel. He knew darkness, and anger, and this was so clearly both, for all that he didn't announce his presence. He didn't see a need to, when he was fairly certain that Emizel would notice his presence in due time.

Ansem would not need to wait much longer, another push was pretty much all Emizel needed left to thrown over the edge. The demon sounded as though he truly did suffocate under the weight of all that darkness and limped down to a kneel. His expression looked dead, not that it would have been too easy to tell when the hood had been covering most of it; first it looked like it just naturally fell in his face, but no, it seemed as thought his clothes really were changing somehow. Growing, darkening, and moving on its own accord; until Emizel was covered in a very long, black robe. Very much like a traditional reaper.

He finally stood up again, though slowly, but the demon's face still couldn't actually be seen. It was just a solid mass of black. All except for his eyes, the glowing red eyes, the only actual bit of color still on him at the moment. The reaper still wasn't used to the darkness quite yet, unfortunately, though he wasn't done taking it in yet either. And once he did, he had all the intention to use it well.
