Mission Completed [In Progress]
Characters: Dias Flac, Miles Edgeworth, Toshiro Hojo
Content: Dias goes to get his payment and some assorted answers from Miles, and winds up getting some mockery from Hojo in the bargain.
Setting: Morem o Lisboa, room 318
Time: Saturday morning, around eight AM
Warning: Possible language with a high chance of graphic threats of violence.
It had been years since he'd stopped having the nightmares, but he'd been worried that his talk about Cecille with Maya - and the disturbing tone of the conversation - might have dredged them up again, so he'd been reluctant to fall asleep. By the time he finally had, it had been early enough that he only got a few hours before his inner clock woke him up again.
He'd considered going back to sleep, but in the end he'd decided to go check on Edgeworth instead. It was still fairly early, so he might still be asleep - but better to get his payment now and avoid the rush, considering how many mercenaries the lawyer (he'd just recently learned that term, even if he wasn't entirely clear on what it meant...) had hired. And it would give him a chance to ask the man some questions while no one else was around to overhear.
Room 318, the man had said; just one door down the hall from Dias and Maya's room. He knocked on the door, hopefully loudly enough to wake the room's occupants without waking anyone else in the adjoining rooms. He'd left Maya still sleeping and would prefer she stayed that way, because if she was as much like Rena as Dias was beginning to suspect, she might not be finished with the argument he'd cut her off in the middle of the night before.
