"MR. EDGEWORTH!!!"

Well. It was good to see that he was missed. His eardrums, however, were not so thankful. He was about to acknowledge her with some sort of awkward greeting, but she had spotted Phoenix before he had the chance and ran to him, leaving Edgeworth with his hand still outstretched to Zack.

That was all right. The last thing he needed was to waste his time on an awkward greeting when there were obviously more important matters at hand.

Once the creepy computer finished booming out its love confession to the white-haired boy, Miles turned his head and said loudly, "Mrs. Ashe and Isaac should still be up near the front--we'll pick them up on the way out. We've got plenty of time before this place goes, but I'd still like to put as much distance between us and it before it does. We'll stop at an inn in Muspelheim to allow the wounded to rest and for those who need payment to recieve it."

He looked over at Phoenix, who was trying to piece together words from Maya's babbling.

"Wright. Keep an eye on Hojo."

The gun was still in Edgeworth's bag.
