The doppelganger disappeared in a flash, leaving only the sword behind as Krichevskoy broke through the crowd of Heartless before him, speeding toward the tower. They were close, at least, and once he was sure Chrono wouldn't be caught in the crossfire, maybe he would be able to use a more powerful attack.
