It seemed as though things were just starting to get a normal feel to them again. The camp, though it could still be seen as crude for the most part, was a nice safe haven. And having everyone around and accounted for made it all the more tolerable. That was... until today.
Guy knew that Jade especially was capable of handling whatever came his way and, despite his claims to grandparenthood, it would take more than some angry locals and falling skies to get the best of him. But his absence from that morning was... unsettling.
As he made another round of the area, trying to locate even a hint of the Colonel's uniform and long shining locks, he was still no where to be found. However, the redhead in the distance was east to spot.
