There was a long moment of silence as Rinzler simply stared and Jade's offered hand. He knew User-kind well enough to know what it meant, of course, but he wasn't at all interested in actually engaging in physical contact. (Once, he might have, long ago when he'd been someone else, but he could no more remember that than he could fly.) In the end, the offered hand went ignored. For all that Rinzler was willing to be somewhat friendly, some things were quite simply beyond even his grudgingly offered politeness.
