"Power?" Gourry asked her vacantly, blinking a few times in rapid succession as if the thought hadn't even occurred to him -- which, of course, it hadn't. He had never been the type to think in terms of power or consider what certain artifacts or magic practices were really worth. The whole thing seemed kind of abstract to him. He had his sword and the ability to use it, that was more than enough for him. He may not have been the brightest guy around, but what he did, at least he did well.
