The Schemer and the Colonel

Character(s): Zexion and Colonel Mustang
Content: The sharing of information
Setting: Cafe Ersesat near Muspelheim Gate
Time: shortly after this
Warnings: None at the moment

It wasn't the first time that Zexion had stepped out into the city to share what he knew. It wasn't even surprising. He had been in the city for longer than most, after all, and his most common persona shared that same trait. Besides, there was hardly any harm in seeing what would come of the people who walked in the streets of the city. Sooner or later he would find a valuable piece and that in itself was quite enough.

Of course he didn't step out into the streets as himself even now, when he was sure the last round of warnings against trusting people in black coats had slipped from the mind of enough people to not have it immediately brought up. For all he knew it could well come up at any moment and it would be better to not have everything he said so quickly brought under suspicion. He'd leave that to the more public of their number, for all that he was no longer truly of there number. To that end, he'd left the more customary coat of the Organization behind for a much more ordinary - and much less remarkable - set of shirt and pants, in colors carefully chosen to neither be bland nor outrageous. They were simply... average, albeit very much not in the style of the natives of the city. As for his far-too-recognizable hair, that had been carefully pinned pinned back out of his face, and hidden under an illusion of light brown hair pulled back in a sensible ponytail.

Only thus armed in gentle lies did Zexion dare to step out into the streets of the city, before making his way to the cafe in question. He hadn't much of an idea as to what the man he was supposed to meet looked like, but that was of lesser importance at the moment. He trusted matters enough to assume they'd work out.
