She tossed the stick over her shoulder and walked to the center of the circle she'd just drawn. Smiling a quick smile in Emi's direction, Urd held her hands palm out and closed her eyes.

As if a switch had been flipped, a thrum of power vibrated in the air and the circle she'd drawn began to glow a light blue. She bent forward slightly, hugging herself, and white and black wings unfurled from her back, soon joined by a pale woman with intricate scrolling tattoos over her barely concealed skin. The angel hovered in the air behind Urd, mimicking the goddess' movements as Urd spoke under her breath.

Though the magic circle had been draw on the ground, it now shifted, the runes changing. Then Urd opened her eyes and both goddess and angel smiled at him. "Come closer."
