Open & Ongoing.
Character(s): Belle & Open!
Content: Beast has turned on Belle (thanks to the Heartless) and Belle is desperately searching for outside help before she is locked up. (For more information, see this post.)
Setting: I'm not fixed on any one spot. You can choose if you like - she will be wandering around quite a bit.
Time: Right after this post. I'm imagining this is either late evening or early morning.
Warnings: Desperation, heart-break, loneliness etc. etc..
His words were like a knife in her heart. All of the love she felt for him made her vulnerable to his retorts, but, before now, she hadn't paid that vulnerability any attention. Now, she was painfully aware of her weakness and her need to be near him when he was upset. She could handle his temper. He had been furious at her before - numerous times, in fact. Yet, then, she had always known the reason. This time was different. This time, she had no idea what she had done to anger him so.
How do I calm him? How do I make this better? Her thoughts flew rapidly through her mind while her heart hammered in her chest. She stumbled and saved herself against the trunk of a tree, strands of her auburn hair falling into her eyes.
What can I do for him? He said he would lock me away... Grimacing, she fought back tears and pushed herself away from the tree. Pushing aside her cloak, she fumbled for her communicator and turned it on. Not trusting her voice, she sent out a text message instead:
There is something wrong with the Beast. He needs help. I don't know what's wrong with him, but... I can't let him stay like this. I will do anything for him.
If you can help, please meet me [here].
Releasing a sob, Belle wiped at her eyes and sent the message to everyone. The Beast might even see it as well if he dared to check the network. He might even decide that enough was enough and decide her prison. Belle didn't care. Even if she starved in some dungeon, she knew she would always put him first. She would do anything to have her Beast back.
Pocketing her communicator, she walked shakily towards the nearest building and knocked on the door.
"Hello? Please, I need help!" her voice was hoarse to her own ears, but hopefully it was loud enough to reach the occupants inside. If there were any.
