Yorda was barely able to resist shrinking back again as Ansem drew closer to her, looking up at him as she tried, once again, to be braver. That was what Urd and Mao would be like in this sort of situation, anyway. Even if they weren't here, she could try to be strong for them. She didn't know why she had suddenly blasted open that door; it just seemed like a normal door for her, after all. She didn't know Ansem had enchanted it in order to keep her from leaving.

At his question, the princess had no answer. She wanted to escape. She wanted to be with her loved ones again, and she definitely didn't want to be imprisoned, and so she merely remained silent as Ansem mused on her situation.
