Yorda remained silent at Ansem's recommendation. She was no longer on her island; she had reasons to live, and reasons to believe she would live. She was no longer the meek, passive girl who wouldn't struggle when taken by the darkness. Even if she couldn't bring herself to cause harm to someone, she wouldn't simply give up.
