‘Terrified’ was just scratching the surface of how the woman felt in her current predicament. Sooner or later this body was going to give out on her and while she would prefer it be something to avoid completely, there would just be no way to keep it from happening at some point. The machine turned lady was just going to have to figure out how to keep it from burning up too quickly and should it begin to happen, work out what to do in order to halt the process. The last thing she wanted was to have to take another body, after all.
When his arm moved around her shoulders, she felt a bit of the tenseness she’d been hiding fade ever so slightly and although she didn’t thank him for the comfort or even really let on to the man that she knew why he was trying to offer her some; Sexy felt vaguely better. She’d never really had to tell him when something was wrong before, anyway, why would it be different now?
“Stupid, are they?” Having not had the pleasure to meet and greet with any of the actual citizens of Paixao just yet, she wasn’t really certain on her opinion of them apart from one thing — they certainly knew how to make a person feel trapped and uncomfortable in their pretty city. “Stupid meaning thick, yes? So, thick like say the humans as you’ve called them before, or thick like the Ogrons?”
She really should have left it at that, but the slight craze that had come with her new form and its inability to handle the overwhelming size of the TARDIS’ core had a bit of a tendency to take over from time to time.
