It wasn't that she hadn't noticed. Naminé just didn't know what to do with it. She stopped coloring for a moment to look at her new friend in confusion. "For me?" Hesitantly, she reached into the basket and drew out a cookie, taking a slow bite. "It's... really good. Thank you, Yorda."
One of these days, she would get used to people being nice to her.
Once the cookie had been eaten, Naminé went back to drawing, giving Yorda's a glance once she was far enough. "That looks really nice. Is that... a real place?" She wanted to be encouraging to Yorda. Drawing was supposed to make them feel better, not worse. It wasn't about being good at it or not; it was about how they felt while drawing.
