Locked Up Forever Inside, I Look to the Stars and Ask Why... [Active, Closed]
Characters: Mufasa and Hei
Content: Hei's first night in Paixao. While taking notice of the stars, he meets someone unexpected who is fond of stargazing, an activity Hei used to enjoy. :3
Setting: In the middle of a street near the Glass Bonsai
Time: Backdated to week 33
Warnings: None.Maybe some Hei Emo?
From the moment he arrived, a dull moment never passed. The locals, the two African mammals he spoke to, and all the information he's received about Organization Thirteen and the Heartless... The last of it made him discontent, and irritated. Actually, he altogether felt a lot of emotions that were separate from the clueless yet courteous Li Shengshun. From confusion and alertness to uneasiness to suppressed rage, Hei hadn't let himself power down.
He had been drilling into his head about finding Yin being his number one priority when he noticed it was getting dark. Curious, for the first time ever, he looked up at the sky. From before he had been too focused on all the city hustle and bustle low to the ground.
Hei saw the stars begin to emerge. Just as he'd expected; they weren't dancing. They were just the same fakes he had seen before. No matter where he was, they would remain fake. Because of what he did to save everyone, Hell's Gate would continue to remain untouched--for now.
He still wasn't sure where this damned Castle Oblivion was, but knew he was so far away from Japan.
His hands moved into the front pockets of his green parka as he continued to look up. He thought of Bai. Do you still miss them? The old ones, he wondered. Then he breathed out a quiet sigh as he looked down at the ground by his sneakers. Can you even hear my thoughts? Hei knew she was very much alive, her power embedded inside of him. He was sure she knew what was going on, and understood how her older brother was feeling right now. If she could read his feelings, then it was possible she could read his mind too. Right?
