Vyers didn't feel a single shred of doubt that the cure would not do its job. Even if the one Genie gave him hadn't gotten rid of the love potion's effects, surely one of the other ones he had imbibed had taken care of it. Surely something good must have come from that period of horror and humiliation.

"No, no, it is quite all right," Vyers replied with a wave of his hand. "I should return before I begin to be missed." He thought he had mentioned that he was going out, but whether or not he actually had... Well, it was better to do such thins in secret anyway. There was no need for anyone to know of what had transpired here.

"I shall return in the next few days with my end of the deal." Vyers grinned and turned on his heel with a short wave as he headed toward the door.
