Vyers nodded, glancing briefly at the spot where the trays would have landed. “I had always wondered about that clause…” He couldn’t say he understood every bit of Genie’s explanation, but he got the basic idea. Urd had said something about the love potion she had made not working quite as she thought it would on the journals, hadn’t she? Her comment technically seemed to be geared more toward his personality changing its effects slightly, but even so, he wouldn’t be entirely surprised if biology came into it somehow too. Hopefully any remedy he was to take would not come with similar results.

…If he was able to find the remedy, that was. Though he had listened to the name of the potion Urd had told him he needed to take multiple times, he still wasn’t entirely sure how that would appear on any sort of label. Frankly, he wasn’t even sure what kind of language it was supposed to be, much less how it would be spelled. Perhaps Genie would know.
