Alice laughed as she whirled around with her old friend, not caring when she stumbled and almost pulling the Hatter down with her once when she nearly tripped over an inconveniently-placed display of canned food. She curtseyed to him once the dance was over, a little dizzy. She hadn't been able to laugh (improperly, by Victorian standards) in quite awhile, and the change it brought about her was noticeable; some color had even returned to her face.
"I think so, too," she replied amusedly, "but I'm not so certain everyone else here shares that sentiment."
