From one’s own thoughts and another’s. There is always a since of pride for wolves like Wolf. Though his pride slowly seemed to be retreating, at each passing day of knowing his heart was still sinking in on itself. Not for the beast within, but for the friends going and coming. Wolf was at least glad Remus was still here. He knew he couldn’t stop wondering why people kept disappearing here. It was recently that he became aware that both Osaka’s and Lottie’s presence disappeared.

Wolf gave a sigh, gripping the edges of his pockets as he walked. It was bad enough that it was just after the full moon for him. He could just feel the burn of whatever he wasted it on while he sneaked away in his wild form. From Wolf’s guess, Remus likely did the same. He mostly wanted to make sure his friend was doing alright, knowing that the wolf form for one so young can be really tough to handle alone. Wolf knew Remus probably was really exhausted. Not that he wasn’t just as tired, but it was more in an emotional sense for him.

Arriving at the Wildkat Café, Wolf looked around, to try and find his friend. Wondering if he should get a cup of coffee too before they head out.

Meanwhile, Remus was sitting in a dork corner away from everyone else with a cup of tea in his hand and his face planted on the table. He felt terrible, like he always did after the full moon. It felt like someone had taken a stick and beat him with it, though it was more likely he had rammed the walls of the place he had holed himself up. His stomach still wasn't agreeing with him either, and his head was pounding. Why had he agreed to help Wolf look for his friends again?

Oh yeah, because Wolf was his friend. Things like this seemed to have awful timing for Remus. He lifted his head to see if Wolf had arrived. He could see him by the door, so he pushed himself up and waved to get his attention right before letting his head fall back to the table. His tea cup was still mostly full, and getting cold.

Remus turned his head to the side so his voice wouldn't be muffled by the table. "I think I'm going to need more than caffeine." He pushed himself back up and sipped his tea. It wasn't helping much.

"We can start by mapping out where they would usually wander around." Remus pulled out his journal and pushed it towards Wolf. He didn't want to bother with it at the moment. "It should make the search go a bit faster." The sooner they found Wolf's friends, the sooner Remus could curl up in bed.

"No thanks. I'm fine with tea."

Remus sipped more of his now chilled tea and stared at the map. At least neither the Glass Bonsai nor Jogo da Crianca were too far away. He rubbed his forehead before grabbing his journal and standing up. "Let's go. The sooner we find them, the sooner I can crash." Remus didn't think he'd have such a choice for very long. It almost felt as if his body would crash whether he wished to or not.

"Hm? Yeah, I remember Osaka." Vaguely. Still, she'd be easy to pick out from the other citizens wandering around. "I never met Lottie though. What's she look like?"

Remus had to work to keep up with Wolf. He was a bit shorter than him as it is, but his post-full-moon syndrome certainly didn't help.

Blond? The fact that she was 'bouncy' and 'sweet' could help to tell her apart from the citizens of Paixao, but Remus had a feeling she's still blend in a bit. "Do you know what she was wearing?"

Merlin's beard, Wolf was starting to sound like Prongs talking about Lily Evans, minus the annoyed comments about how she spent too much time around Severus. "You make it sound like she was your girlfriend." He smirked jokingly at Wolf.

Cute colors. Got it.

Remus was still grinning at Wolf. "Just a friend?" He raised his eyebrows. He was just as bad as James, if not worse.

He walked into the shop and started looking around for the two girls around the shelves. So far, he had yet to see anyone that wasn't a citizen save for Wolf. Still, he kept searching, though his hopes for finding either of them was starting to dwindle. The shop really wasn't that big.

"I think you're right." Remus followed Wolf out the door and towards the park.

Remus had a feeling that Wolf's friends had disappeared from Paixao. He liked to think that those who have disappeared were somehow sent back to where they belonged, but there was no way to be sure. For all they knew, they could be stuck in some inaccessible part of the castle, or worse...

He kept his thoughts on that matter to himself. There was no need worrying about it if there was nothing they could do, and Wolf was more than a handful when he was upset.

Headcanon away~

Remus flushed a little. "Can't say I have, really. There was a girl in Ravenclaw once, but I thought better of it." Being a werewolf kind of put a damper on relationships. He still counted himself immensely lucky for having friends that really didn't seem to mind the fact that he became a blood-thirsty killer once a month. He figured it would be too good to be true to find a girl who both liked him in that way and had little trouble with that.
