Not the pirates you were looking for [active]
Character(s): Fran and Balthier
Content: A pair of sky pirates wander to the Pridelands in search of treasure
Setting: Pridelands
Time: Midday, week 32
Warnings: Potentially grumpy pirates
Fran would have been the first to admit that the city had long since begun to stagnate. There was little treasure to be found, when one could simply pluck it off the branches of the trees. There was no challenge, no hunt, no risk and even she felt the loss of what had been once part of their lives. But where the city provided no options perhaps another floor would. The first might not have, but that was little guarantee. Each floor was another possibility.
Still, she hadn't been expecting to step through a door and find herself quite literally a changed woman.
"It would seem the information on this place was less then complete," she commented with a trace of annoyance in her voice as she turned to look over her shoulder - if she could still be said to have shoulders - at Balthier.
