Even if this world was different and complicated from Tellius, Naesala still had built a wall around himself from getting to close to the Walkers. He always felt to be a level higher above them, for he knew that most believed that everything was created for their entertainment to pillage and claim, including all laguz.

Naesala would rather have all their gold and treasure than their touch. Vanille wasn't at all appalled by him--not recoiling in fear or scoffing at him in disgust, to which was surprising. But he didn't show it. He observed, taking in Vanille's overall appearance and saw that some of the jewelry she wore looked interesting.

Naesala then grinned (in the least intimidating way) and resumed eye contact. He almost chortled at her cheery disposition. "I come from a world where laguz and beorc strive to live in coexistence..." He almost never used the most respectful term towards humans. "Some laguz tend to refrain to call your kind human, for it would be insulting for them to call us sub-human. There has been discrimination, violence, and terror among all nations in Tellius," he explained. "With that said, you must pardon my distance. You're about the friendliest Walker I've seen in a while though... In my own viewpoint, this isn't what I consider normal."

He already considered that this girl may be very helpful. "Would you mind escorting me to the nearest Cafe Eresat, Miss Vanille? I'm still new here, flying and arriving all too soon two days ago."

Addressing her politely was all a part of the charm to play nice. Naesala slightly shook his head in amusement as he continued, "Had I known it would be a tight fit to fly in through one of those gates, I would have avoided banging my wing against the door."
