Naesala wouldn't admit it, but it was kind of pleasant to see him show other expressions. So, he wasn't really emotionless after all. With undivided attention, he listened to everything that was explained.

"All of that sounds very strange, and unfortunate... For what purpose? Clearly, there must be some reason why." For someone who was somehow drawn into this place, he wasn't taking it as hard as others would expect. "And, if I'm going to be here a while, I might as well see what there is to see, to provide for my country." Despite the bad news, he can only smile. "My flock will search everywhere for me in the mean."

Naesala didn't even try to hide his amusement. "Ah, so they truly exist? The humans call whoever they admire as angels, and use the term 'monster' or 'demon' to those they fear and despise..."

Naesala glanced back to the entrance he unexpectedly came through. From there, he spoke disdainfully. "As for my precious wings, they brushed harshly against one of those doors by accident. I didn't feel anything shatter, so they must be bruised..." He sighed, looking back to the angel. "I also flew a very long way, to help bring an end to a war. My body's weary from the traveling, and taking flight will only make matters worse for me."
