Filing out of the shop, Flonne spared one more glance over her shoulder at the gypsy woman before closing the door after her. Out in the street, she put a hand to her heart and breathed a rather large sigh of relief. Unbeknown to Laharl, the shopkeeper had tried to sweeten the deal with an additional purchase at a lowered price -- a heart-shaped frame for lovers, for a picture of Flonne and Laharl. She'd adamantly refused, of course, even if the idea of a picture of the two of them would be a wonderful treasure. She'd never convince him, though.
