Well, that was... somewhat new (although Jabe came to mind). The Doctor smiled softly at Duma, giving him a slight nod. "Thank you." It seemed his new friend was empathic, as well. That wasn't surprising, but it was strange how many of the legends he'd heard and read over the years apparently turning out to be true. Even if this wasn't his universe, nor the other a member of it, it was still quite the discovery.

"Let's see," he replied, pushing the previous subject from his mind, "not long, really. Just a few weeks, almost a month. And you?"
