Seeing and sensing were very different things. That being said, what he could tell from her face wasn't much. It had taken him a while for him to learn to make out expressions on most people. He couldn't sense color, and fine details were muddled, particularly on Xion. Riku would have assumed she had indigo eyes and red hair.
