Auron stiffened when Jecht wrapped his arm around him. He hadn't noticed his friend catch up to him until Jecht was right in front of him, and Auron was unused to such displays besides. He turned his head away from Jecht after a moment, but let himself relax. Something told him that he should say something, but neither words nor conviction would come, and Auron doubted Jecht would like much attention to be brought to this besides.

Or maybe that was just him.

The moment Jecht let go, Auron would head for the next floor. He didn't care what lay ahead, as long as he was able to leave this place behind.
