Strange places and familiar faces. (Active)
Character(s): Ventus, Sora
Content: Welcome to Paixao, Ven!
Setting: Near the Vanaheim gate.
Time: ...Afternoon?
Warnings: Possible BBS spoilers, though anything major is unlikely.
Traveling with the Star Shard was a lot like riding the Keyblade Glider at full speed, blindfolded, on your stomach, with your hands tied behind your back. Sure, it was thrilling, but you could forget about keeping your lunch when the ride was over.
Thankfully, Ven hadn’t eaten lunch – or breakfast – that day. His mind had been, and still was, too occupied with other things to consider tracking down food, regardless of the growling fit his stomach was sure to have later. Things like putting a nasty pirate captain in his place, and hunting for shooting stars. Though, maybe – no, definitely – he was more worried about Terra and Aqua. An aimless, nagging worry had started to eat away at him – he wanted to make sure that they were safe.
But, more then anything? He just missed them. Whatever ounce of stubbornness Ven had possessed when he left Radiant Garden was washed away now, and he was more than willing to admit that he just wanted them all to be able to go home…together, once the mess that was unleashing the Unversed on the worlds was cleared up.
He at least wanted to be able to fight alongside them. That wasn’t too much to ask, was it?
Of course, at that moment, his thoughts were much less coherent. Ven’s entire brain had dissolved into a frazzled mess, tossing out complete ideas in favor of bracing himself for impact in whatever world he was headed to.
He found out soon enough. The bright streak of light finally found a surface, revealing Ven after a blinding flash, the boy still holding on tightly to the Star Shard that led him there. It was a few minutes before he recovered. Eventually the boy stood, looking around to take in what he could of the sights. He didn’t see much – just a dome in the distance, with a line of people standing outside.
Still, that was probably the best direction to head in. If anything was going on in this world, it would be there, right?

He was out walking around the city, trying to find a way to clear his head when he noticed a familiar head of spiky, blond hair. What was Roxas doing outside the city like that?
"Hey, Roxas!" Sora called as he ran up to him.
no subject
It was only when someone walked up behind him that he thought to notice anything odd. He looked at the boy, expecting him to walk right by...and very surprised when he didn't.
Strange. There was no one else standing near him, so why...? He stops walking, surprise showing visibly on his face.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Were you talking to me?" he asked politely, wondering if there was some kind of mistake. After all, he didn't even know this guy...and he didn't know the name "Roxas", either.
no subject
"Yeah I was. You look exactly like my friend Roxas!"
no subject
Must have just been his imagination, he thought.
"Sorry about the confusion." he said, smiling. "My name is Ventus - Ven, for short."
no subject
"So you just got here, right?" Sora asked, though the answer to that question was obvious.
no subject
"That's right." Ven said, nodding once. "I've never been to this city before. Tell me, have you noticed anything strange around here lately?" If there were Unversed showing up in this world, or if something else was wrong, it was better to find out as soon as possible. After all, how else would he be able to help out?
no subject
Sora would answer Ven's questions about who the Organization as they came, he didn't wanna to overwhelm his new friend.
no subject
None of what Sora had just said sounded like it had anything to do with the Unversed, but, in all honesty, he couldn't make heads or tails of anything that the other boy had said. Still, whatever it was, it didn't sound good. Even if it wasn't from what he was looking for, Ven could still help if there was trouble.
After all, that was his job, wasn't it?
"I'm sorry, but...did you just say that this place is inside a castle?" Was that even possible? Ven certainly couldn't imagine it, but he how did he know that he wasn't wrong? Maybe it was possible, but...
"...and what's Organization XIII, again?"
no subject
"Yeah, I... it's magic, you know," Sora said, rubbing the back of his neck. Sora really couldn't explain it past that. Besides, there was more important stuff to explain to Ven.
"They're a group of Nobodies, people who don't have Hearts," He explained.
no subject
That didn't explain why someone would, though.
Ultimately, he ended up more worried about the next topic - these "Nobodies".
"No hearts?" Ven asked. Had he ever heard of something like that, before? Or seen it?
No - the only things he had fought before were Unversed.
"So what are they trying to do? Hurt people?"
