Tale As Old As Time [Active]
Character(s): Beast, Belle, and all the servants~
Content: An adorable dinner date~
Setting: Beast's apartment
Time: Evening
Warnings: None~
Beast paced nervously about the room. One second he'd adjust his cravat, the next he'd fix his buttons, the next he'd be back to pacing. This cycle seemed like it could repeat endlessly, if it were allowed to go on.
The food had been prepared with the servant's help, and the smells were wafting around the apartment. It was not so grand a feast as what he would have had made for her at his castle, but the food smelled very good nonetheless. He could only hope that Belle would like it, and that he wouldn't screw anything up. He wanted this night to be perfect for her, that was all he could think about. All the things that could go wrong kept worrying him, and he had to try hard to keep from blowing up at the servants to make them start doing ridiculous things to try to prevent anything bad from happening.
Instead, it seemed his clawed feet would wear the hardwood floor to death, for all his pacing. He rubbed at the ruff of his collar, then adjusted his cravat again, and went back to pacing.
He'd never been so nervous about anything in his life. His heart was pounding.
