She didn't like turning into that if she didn't have to, but so far, it didn't seem to be bad. Maybe there really was nothing to fear from turning into shadow. "I like the light better," she told him, "but I do not think the darkness is always bad." She wasn't bad, after all - at least, she didn't think so.
