She snatched it out of his hands before he'd even fully offered it to her. Dashing towards the kitchen's entry, she turned for a moment and pointed at him. "You stay right there! I need to do this in private!" Then she turned and ran up the stairs, two steps at a time despite her short legs. She probably would have done it right there in the kitchen, but previous experience with Keiichi had taught her that stripping down just anywhere was a bad idea.
She slammed open the door to her bedroom and closed it just as roughly. The stone was still warm. Urd smiled down at the Mickey Mouse-shaped moon stone, gently setting it on her bed. If it worked, Genie had probably saved her life. She took of her clothes, folding them carefully and affectionately -- she didn't want to ruin them, after all. Finally, she took the stone back in her hands.
Urd lowered her head, eyes closed. The usual white glow surrounded her as she used the stability of the stone to access her own internal goddess program. Her limbs began to stretch, her torso lengthening and developing the curves she was so proud of. She arched her back and sighed in relief as she finished growing. It worked...it worked!
She moved away from the bed to her full-length mirror to check herself out. Yes, everything looked normal here... Her eyes were suddenly caught by the dress hanging up on the wall beside the mirror. A small, gentle smile curving her lips, she took down the dress and ran her fingers over the fabric. Genie had repaired her favorite dress after all and she hadn't even noticed. And knowing him, he'd done it by hand even though he probably could have blinked and it'd be done.
She put it on quickly, buttoning it up but leaving the slit over her legs. She tugged the shoulders down a little and smoothed the fabric down over her stomach. Urd grinned and turned quickly to head back down to the kitchen.
"How do I look?" she asked mildly as she appeared at the entrance to the kitchen. One hand was resting on the door jamb, the other on her hip. Her expression had been schooled into careful neutrality.
