Out of the Fire [Active]

Character(s): Megara, Zetta
Content: Megara has to be certain Hades is gone and runs into someone even more annoying in the process.
Setting: Around G5, outside The Glass Bonsai
Time: Week 22, morning.
Warnings: Sarcasm and swearing?

Megara was not an optimist. She was still arguably young, but sometimes if felt like she had lifetime of mistakes and heartache. A life that taught her that when something was too good to be true, it was. So when she hadn't heard even a whisper from Hades in more than a few weeks, she didn't allow herself to hope. When she couldn't even find the barest scrap of his presence whispered among the natives, she ignored the urge to celebrate. It wasn't like him to just up and leave, after all. Especially without her in his oily grasp.

Business was slow with everyone focusing the elections, so today, she closed up shop and headed out into the city. Now she found herself wandering in what looked like a cheaper part of town. There was a pawnshop across the street, she noted with mild interest. And still no sign of the being that owned her.

Good, she'd managed to hear him. Didn't seem to be all that intimidated, though. What was with this place and people not reacting how they were supposed to? Did they just not know a badass freakin' Overlord when they saw one? Sure as hell seemed like it.

"How long have you been here?" he asked, deciding to get that out of the way first. He didn't really pay too much attention to who wandered in and out of the city, so it would probably be better to make sure this chick actually had some information on her.
