Settling into a more comfortable cross-legged position, Lightning turned her journal on and waited while Celes fiddled with hers. Apparently the other woman was fairly adept at these sorts of things, as she'd figured it out with ease.
"Neither had I," Lightning admitted with a sigh as she pulled up what could be called the network, whatever they liked to call these journal posts and responses. "And I've never heard of those cities, either. Maybe the locals weren't lying about many different people all in the same place. I'm from a city called Bodhum located inside Cocoon." But last she'd known, she was on Gran Pulse.
"Here, this is the communication network," she continued. "You can post your own thoughts and respond to others'. Voice or text. I'm not sure if it supports video. The camera might just be for an initial photo and that's all it does. Kind of primitive, but you take what you get."
