"I imagine they must seem archaic to someone with a device like yours, but it is still the easiest way to get news. And word of mouth, of course."

Marluxia took another sip of his tea, eying the futuristic-looking device with curiosity. Once he had finished giving information, maybe he would ask about it. While he preferred the wonders of nature to those of technology, he was far from blind to its uses.

"As you might have noticed, the natural citizens here are... lacking, I suppose you could say, when it comes to depth. I imagine you'll find 'visitors' to the city such as you and myself easier to converse with and with much more to say. Luckily, the citizens will take whatever shines for money. Most people pluck the leaves from the trees to use as currency here. If you'd like somewhere to stay, there are plenty of hotels throughout the city, or you can purchase an apartment or townhome.
