Geez, when did he grow to be such a pushover? Not even could he find the strength to look at the two demons, his gaze drifting to the ground until his heavy lids finally fell. All the while he continued to concentrate on something other than his depleting strength, as though ignoring it would somehow help him. Those thoughts continued to consist of everything he had gone through with demon he was oddly trying to save and all that awaited them when this was over. They still had those kids to take care of, to figure out how to successfully cook something, and as anyone could guess many pointless arguments to be had. Whose face would Timon have to rub in the fact that he got the winning ice cream stick? Not only that but when he became mayor as well? When so many had mocked him Vyers had been there right at his side to support him in struggle for mayor. It may have been in hopes of receiving a high position himself but, none the less, the demon had to be there when he won.
Too tired to focus on anything else around him, the meerkat fell completely unaware of the storm the four of them could found in the middle of. He wobbled on his feet, threatening to collapse at any moment before struck by a blinding light. Without waiting for any signs that the spell was over, Timon allowed himself to fall face first into the sand just as the storm came to an end all began to return to normal. He gave a small groan, indication that he was still alive while he found himself with a mouth full of sand. Why hadn’t anyone thought to bring chairs to this stupid thing? The whole thing would have been a lot easier if they had been sitting. Timon would have to raise this complaint with Urd once he caught his breath again.
He slowly opened his eyes to look at the others. Did it work?
